Not sure how we've missed this place for as long as we've been in Tomball, maybe because they close at 2p, and closed completely on Sundays. But happy we stumbled on it today.i love businesses like this, always happy to try them out and support them. Although I'm guessing they are doing as well as they want to be doing. The nook is a perfect name because it is literally a snippet of a place, 12 tables total. Very plainly decorated with big open windows looking out onto Main Street. In actuality, the perfect diner. I walked by a table that had a cinnamon roll that looked really good, even to me. I say that because I am not a big fan of sweets , but even my attention was caught. The menu was surprisingly diverse, everything from that monster cinnamon roll to breakfast tacos. I ordered bacon and eggs with a pancake. I ordered my eggs pasted but I'm pretty sure they were poached. That's okay The egg yolk was still a little runny. I definitely would have preferred it a lot runny but it's okay. Bacon was fantastic. Crispy but not burnt. Definitely how I like it. If I were to take issue with anything, it would be the one small path of frozen butter that they served with the pancake. I had to ask for more letter which I promptly got, but there was no way it was going to be melted butter. The coffee was good and plentiful overall a great experience. And I definitely recommend and we will be back

The best people in the world work here! Family owned and operated! Food is just like at home and I've had nothing bad there. Great atmosphere and you immediately feel at home. I've been going there over 20 years!!!!!

10 stars! Food and service was the best. Highly recommend trying the meat lovers omelette but can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Outdoor ambiance was perfect for my wife and two small dogs.

This is a great little gem. If there's a line, wait. Or get there earlier. The food is awesome. I'm not sure why I didn't snap a pic, but I had biscuits n gravy. You can tell when it's all made from scratch. No powdered gravy mix here. Wife had an omelette. Huge portions. Reasonable rates. If you're a foodie, you got to put this in your list for breakfast. And then for lunch, head to Mel's.

Fantastic little breakfast spot! Food was good, service was fast and friendly, and the Nook was PACKED, we were lucky to get a table when we walked in. Others waited for a while.

I was in the hospital and my other half went to The Nook for breakfast. He had been one other time and said it was really good. On his second visit, he brought me a cinnamon roll and WOWZER!!! This thing is massive in size! It's also delicious! I was able to share it with a few nurses who also loved it! I can't wait to try other items on their menu! When I do, I'll be sure to update my review.

Love the Nook, it's our favorite Tomball breakfast stop. Great food, fun people who serve, very consistent. Always greeted with a smile.

I love this little restaurant! The food is all homemade and delicious. Cinnamon rolls as big as a plate! I love a good hot breakfast and this is the place to go. Family owned and run. Bottomless coffee and service is great. Highly recommend!

Stopped into the Nook for breakfast to begin our day of house hunting. A tiny little hole in wall place that you might miss if you didn't know it was there. One of the best breakfasts that we had while in Tomball. I ordered the 4 slices French Toast with sausage while my wife ordered the 2 pancakes with 1 egg and sausage. Both meals were absolutely delicious and hit the spot for the day! Been a long time since I have even ordered French Toast and it was some of the best I have had. The Nook really appears to be a hidden gem that the locals know about. Small but great food and great service and prices. We will definitely be coming back to this great restaurant.
